nah i didnt predict his numbers in preseason -- noone did.

I've offered some compelling arguments as to why he could keep it up all year since week 3 though.

So the guys who were touting him before the season started as a big sleeper and to impress this year (granted, I don't think anybody predicted this), they came after you did in Week 3?

Come on pal, egos get checked at the door, with coats and hats.

So what you're saying is the following thread happened after you made your claims, 3 weeks into the season, on why Roberts "could keep it up all year"?

http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=106071

Come on Nostradamous, you'll have to do better than that.
These guys threw out numbers closer to Roberts' career numbers (a wise choice), but the general concensus was that he would be a very good 2B available late in drafts, who would improve upon just about all of his seasonal numbers up until that point.

As I said, ego at the door. You're preaching to the choir.

i didn't know that forum existed -- very few people visit forums outisde of leftovers anyway. Search my name, I'm not going to waste any more of my time, nobody in the cafe has provided a better argument for B-Rob this year all year.

Suppose theres a distinction from predicting he would go 30-30 before the season and providing compelling reasons why its a possibilty early in the season. You don't have to appreciate it but the EGO stays.

Bat is hot right now... I wonder how close the little guy will get to 20 before the break?

He hit his 15th HR, today, in his last game before the ASB. I don't think he could get any closer to 20HR before the break, but still, he isn't human so I would give him a 50/50 chance of breaking 20 before tomorrow.

Excuse me? Why was today his last game before the allstar break? The allstar game is on the 12th. Unless Roberts has some injury I don't know about he has about a week left to reach 20. Very unlikely, but conceiveable.

For some, ignorance is bliss, I suppose. Whatever floats your boat.

Ya know as much as love this guy's unexpected offensive output, I really drafted him for his SB potential.... and 10 of those steals came in April.

I thought him and scotty pods would be more then enough SB to wrap up that catergory every week......... not :-t
If you found my advice helpful, please help me
