Why does this guy randomly sit? Keep this dude in there...He would have ARam-esque numbers in as many at bats....

So, why....does he sit? For example, yesterday..

He's facing 5 lefties this week. He should have a good week. Keep him active. This guy crushes left-handed pitching.

He has been playing everyday lately, he sat yesterday for most likely a day off .... it was Clemens after all. He has been heating up lately, has a 10 game hit streak and in his last 3 has multi hit games. Pena is streaky but when he is hot, like now, he can be huge.

If he's available in your league, grab him if only to face LH pitchers. Look at his splits:

vs LH .340/.367/1.043 6 HRs 47ABs
vs RH .250/.278/.778 6 HRs 96 ABs
