Jul 3The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in Tampa Bay Devil Rays 3B Aubrey Huff.
I don't know if this would be a good thing or not. I guess getting out of TB is always a good thing, but the Dodgers aren't exactly an offensive juggernaut and I don't know how much the Huffster would help. Hopefully I'm wrong as I have him, but I'm not sure...
It makes quite a bit of sense. The Dodgers really need help at third base, and Huff is a good pick to click there. As a Dodgers fan, I'd like to see it. As a Huff owner, I'm indifferent.
Los Angeles isn't nearly the pitchers park that it once was, and it never really cut down on home runs. Of course, Huff would probably be running less, but who drafted him for that anyway?

Audry need a change of venue. He is sick of playing for the DRays. I think where ever he ends up, he'll start hitting more aggressively. Cupcake is just too depressed in Tampa.

I think he'd be hitting like crap just about anywhere this year, with the way he's looked at the plate. Tampa isn't exactly an offensive pushover, either. Throw Huff into a situation where he's pressured to perform, and he runs just as likely to crack as he does step up, so I'm not sure how thrilled I'd be as an owner of his right now.

I agree totally...hopefully somewhere else. Although I think this will be better than where he's at. Looks like he hit a homer yesterday, so he's been playing better (Finally!!!).
