Who's the better young 2B: Cantu or Weeks?

I also have then both in my keeper league. As much as I have been impressed with Cantu, he shall hit the Free_Agent market at the end of the season as he gets put back into the draft, Weeks will be on my team for a long time after this season. (knock on wood!)

the are both good options at a shallow position, i think they are about as even as it gets.

Weeks steals and Cantu doesn't (4 to 0) and also has more walks already (10 to 7).

Cantu will hit for a higher average, but Weeks will steal more bases and have a higher OPS, because, as was stated, he'll walk a lot more ... I also, think Weeks will hit more HRs in the 2nd half. So it depends what your needs are.

in 2 years, maybe even by this time next year, weeks will blow cantu's numbers out of the water. weeks has 35+ hr power.
cantu has shown decent power but not like power most scouts agree weeks has...
weeks game is comparable to sori's #s (power/steals)..
plus, he's only 22 right now. if you pass on weeks in a keeper you will be sorry...
