I'd go with either Betemit or Burke.

Had you asked before the year, I woulda said Burke hands down. I think Betemit finally blossomed in to what everyone thought he could be 3-4 years ago.

I'd probably go with Betemit as I see him at SS for the Braves in the future.

I have never liked JJ Hardy personally.

earlier in the year, i would easily take burke but with betemit finally playing like the player he was hyped to be 3 years ago,,,, the decision is much tougher now.....


burke should settle into a nice 2nd baseman with 20 steals or so and a 300 average,,, but betemit had the chance to be special a few years ago,,, but after 2 robust years in the minors, he has finally started to show the talent once again..... if he continues to get this much playing time, i think the braves may very well let furcal go at the end of the year and put betemit at the SS position...

burke is the more secure pick of the 3 players, where as betemit has the most potential of the bunch....

He played SS in the minors.

I'd take Peralta out of those 3 (Johnson, Adams). He's already doing a nice job as the Indians SS (hitting around .280, .830 OPS) in the 9 hole. Should move up in the lineup in the coming years

I like Jose Lopez' upside most of that group, with Burke being the safe pick.

....he hasn't played an inning at SS since 03....weird
