Need the lowdown on Loretta

Postby nsulham » Sat Jul 02, 2005 1:00 pm

I've read he's targeting a late July return (July 19th?) and he's sitting out there in my league if I want him.

Question is, will he be even close to the same guy he was pre-wrist? Wrist injuries are tricky with hitters. I already have Soriano so I wouldn't exactly need Loretta but he'd be a nice backup.

I wouldn't bother with him. He did nothing to the point he started missing time. I'd probably only pick him up if you in a pretty large league.

if you have sori dont bother unless you have some1 really expendable. then you could use him as trade bait to a team that needs a 2B down the stretch

Loretta had the same wrist injury awhile back and he bounced back pretty strong. He'll hit .300+ and will score more runs than most 2b will in the second half. I say he's definitely worth a roster spot.
