Any word on whether he'll need to go under the knife or not? I'm in four leagues, own him in one... in two others he's been dropped. Everyone know something I don't?

From MLB.com (7/1):
"Bochy remains hopeful that Ramon Hernandez (sprained left wrist) will be able to return this weekend, and says that second baseman Mark Loretta (strained right thumb) is still on target for a return in late July."

He was supposed to come off the DL on July 3. So what's the update?
