I finally bit the bullet completely. I traded Helton in one league about 2 weeks ago for Soriano, and last night, in another league, waived Lowell and picked up Garret Atkins. Very disappointing

wow. WAIVED lowell? i thought benching was bad enough. yeah, considering his stats, very disappointing.... picked up B Hall....

Lowell may well turn things around, but given his history of poor 2nd halves combined with almost no recent signs of significant improvement, I decided to say bye bye, Mike. Only time will tell

Jeez, who would ever do that? I'd deal Helton for Soriano if Helton was playing like he usually does.

I wouldn't. Soriano will hit 5 homers one week, then the next he will be something like 2-24 with 10 k's. Imagine if he hits the wall during your playoff week? Helton during his top 5 run was a monster, and consistant week to week production is too hard to pass up.

I wouldn't. Soriano will hit 5 homers one week, then the next he will be something like 2-24 with 10 k's. Imagine if he hits the wall during your playoff week? Helton during his top 5 run was a monster, and consistant week to week production is too hard to pass up.

But Helton is a far cry from that monster now
