Thought this'd be fun to see (hope it's the appropriate forum). I've just finally put together a staff I'm really happy with (without sacrificing my offense too much, I hope), but I'm sure some of you have even better. For a 12+ team league, though (none of that 8 team league crap).
Here's mine:
SP- Johan Santana
SP- Chris Carpenter
RP- Mariano Rivera
RP- B.J. Ryan
P- Yhency Brazoban
P- Freddy Garcia
BN- Andy Pettitte
BN- Brad Penny
BN- Kerry Wood
Can you top that? Comments (critical or otherwise) are welcome too. I'm still trying to decide if I should keep Pettitte or drop him to pick up Ollie Perez.

It's solid, that's for sure. Especially the first two starters and closers.
I think mine has more DEPTH, but not as solid at the top. 14 team league
SP: Randy Johnson, Mark Prior, Ben Sheets, Curt Schilling, Carlos Zambrano, Odalis Perez
CP: Francisco Rodriguez, Billy Wagner, Huston Street
RP: Duchscherer, Mota (Mota as possible closer)
DL: Benitez
Yeah.. this "fantasy guru" thing is just a user name, folks.

Impressive, especially for a 14 team league. Your staff definitely has more upside than mine, with Sheets, RJ, Prior, and Schilling all likely to bounce back with good second halves. Mine seems a bit more stable, but I've got some guys (like Garcia and Pettitte) maybe playing a bit over their heads recently.
I had Mota for a while, but finally gave up on him--forced me to make a move to pick up Brazoban.
I think this is the best staff I have...I haven't gone through and checked all of my teams but I know I've looked at it a few times and smiled. 12 team h2h league by the way.
SP Jo. Santana (Min - SP)
SP J. Peavy (SD - SP)
RP B. Ryan (Bal - RP)
RP T. Hoffman (SD - RP)
P Y. Brazobán (LAD - RP)
P M. Batista (Tor - SP,RP)
P R. Dempster (ChC - SP,RP)
BN M. Clement (Bos - SP)
BN J. Beckett (Fla - SP)
BN M. Morris (StL - SP)
BN C. Young (Tex - SP)
I love having the 5 closers like that...it's basically an automatic win in saves every week. Morris has been struggling and Beckett has the blisters going again but if all these guys pitch like they're capable of pitching this is a scary staff.

That's impressive. Santana/Peavy is a deadly combo at the top.
Pretty sweet looking staff you assembled. I'd certainly be content with it.
Here's my staff in a 12-team keeper league:
SP Roy Halladay
SP Rich Harden
SP Matt Morris
SP Brandon Webb
SP Brett Myers
BN Josh Beckett (DL)
BN Zach Greinke
RP Cliff Pollite
RP Jesse Crain
RP Francisco Rodrigez
RP Brad Lidge
BN Ryan Wagner
I think I should be able to afford to keep my staff (acution), because my offense is loaded with kiddies! What do you think?
