Just thought I would pass this along. As a Mora owner, I am anxious for his return. Hurry up already.
Jun 30 Orioles third baseman Melvin Mora has missed a week due to a strained right hamstring, but he could be nearing his return to the field. Mora ran for the first time on Wednesday since straining his right hamstring on June 21 against the Toronto Blue Jays. Orioles Manager Lee Mazzilli told the Washington Post that Mora will definitely be held out of Thursday's game against the Indians, but the third baseman thinks he could return to the field this weekend. "I don't hurt at all," Mora said. "In two more days I may be able to run hard. I ran [today] and I did backpedals and side-to-side and it didn't bother me. I feel a tiny thing inside and I don't want to rush back so I want to take a couple of more days so it can be completely healed."
Views: The Orioles have won only one of their seven games Mora has missed. Fantasy owners should plan on checking his status on Monday before getting him back in the lineup, but at this point, his return looks promising
