Don't know, but they have their regular hitters in the lineup so I'm hoping its for good. He walks enough that while not a traditional 2nd hitter, I think he would be a valuable one.

Beckett's blisters seemed to have opened back up
Josh Beckett left tonight's game after six innings with an apparent finger injury.
Beckett's skin tear apparently opened back up while he was warming up to pitch the seventh inning. He gave up one hit in six scoreless innings before leaving, but now it remains to be seen whether he'll pitch again before the All-Star break. Jun. 30 - 11:40 pm et

thread in game commentary said the marlins announcers claiming that it was not a blister problem so i guess time will tell. i am sleeping with my fingers crossed though
