Well, I guess I was completely off base. It didn't take him a month or two to return to his all star form....IT TOOK TWO WEEKS!!!! Man this guy has been raking. Now do you see a comparison between him and Berkman? I hope you guys didn't trade him away for nothing or, even worse, drop him outright. Like I said, patience is a virtue. GO MAGGS!!!!

yup, and the best part is the guy i am playing against this week drafted him, and then dropped him earlier in the season. I got him off waivers before he came back. talk about a slap in the face!
I disagree with y'all, too. His hitting eye won't just go away, though some homers are bound to part with his departure from US Cellular. Personally, I'm going to try to reel him in for Mark Loretta, since I have Soriano at 2B and the other guy is starting Adam Kennedy (albeit the currently hot Adam Kennedy).

I picked up Maggs AND Berkman (filling in for Pronk) off the FA list (7-team 5x5 roto with a SHORT bench) about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving the production.
My updated Yahoo team log show the following:
Maggs .444
Berkman .411
I know these numbers won't continue but I'm enjoying the ride
