This guy is tearing it up. Is he going to become the everyday 3 bagger for the stros or will he continue to platoon? He now has a 1:9 hr to ab rate - craaazy.

I was wondering the same thing. I want to pick him up, but I don't know if he'll play enough. If he keeps hitting like this, how could they not keep him playing?

I just picked him up and dropped Aramis Ramirez. I'm starting Ensberg tomorrow, hopefully he plays.

he's just in a hot spell...(see Eric Byrnes)
he's not part of Jimy's master plan though for whatever reason

Nero, what do you mean by master plan and do you really think this is just a hot streak? His hot streak has lasted 100 ab's...

Jimy just loves Blum for some reason....I can't explain it...
and I just traded Ensberg along with Sweeney for Giambi..

Nero, is this your opinion or do you have any substancial info to back that Blum is Jimy's boy. Seems to me that Ensberg is getting more and more playing time. If you notice, even the games that he does not start he gets at least one ab - which he has taken full advantage of.

word.
ensberg is better and will continue to get more playing time. he's hot, for sure and will just as surely cool down. however, i still think we've yet to see his real hot streak. look for that in august.
