I can't wait to see that one.....looks freaky. I think it is a lot like The Day after Tomorrow though.

I saw it today. It was exactly what I expected. Typical pop-corn muncher. Underwhelming story, but insanely cool special effects. Personally, I normally like it the other way around, but it wasn't that bad. Normally I'd say don't bother to waste your money in the theater for it, but the problem with that is, the appeal of the movie is the cool special effects that are enhanced by the theater.

They didn't change the ending, right? When answering, don't ruin it for those that don't know it.

One word.....disappointing.

The acting was good, the effects were awesome, but the story was just not there. WAY too many things left unexplained. And, I won't ruin the ending, but the movie is a whole buildup, and then the ending is less than 2 minutes.

I think I will go see it for the effects even though Tom Cruise is a weak minded fool that is easily brainwashed by lunatics!!

No, the ending was not changed. I thought it was a pretty good film. If you read the book you won't be dissapointed. They actually followed the book more than I thought they would, and they didn't make up a wild ending. ;-D
