is there any sort of stat that measures how often a player scores runs? I can eyeball it and see that Soriano scores roughly every 4 AB's, but is there anything else? OBP doesn't seem to correlate as well.
thanks!

if you want the number of at bats for every run (like your example with soriano) you can divide the number of at bats by the number of runs...if thats what you were looking for, shame on you...

I don't know why you'd want such a statistic, but rather than runs per AB, it'd make more sense to have runs per plate appearance, so that runs after walks and beans are included.
