i have a very solid team but still only 4.5 points seperates me from 2nd place, i know i need to get a closer but how much should i give up to get one-- I currently offered Rich Harden for Joe Nathan

THAT would be offering too much. Harden's golden from here on out, and starters are worth more than RPs. You need Harden and Beckett to be your big aces. I'd try and trade Burnett for Nathan or someone of his caliber.
