But seriously, a 30 cm step is actually kind of annoying to walk up (definitely not standard). Believe me, I know. I'm a clumsy walker. :-b

Just look at our standards. Nothing greater than 9 1/2 inches (24 cm).

the step was probably built to code originally but things settle around it. she should just lay a phone book in front of the step and tell him to deal with it.
