I think that's an Alan Moore comic book adaptation. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he did Sandman and The Watchmen. Don't know if you've ever been into comics, but he's a highly respected figure a la Frank Miller. But it's been a while, and I could be completely wrong on all of this.

It is Alan Moore. The John Galt reference was to the Atlas Shrugged character who took over the govt radio waves to give one helluva lecture.

Oh, I got the Galt reference. I've read that book twice (along with most of her other books), and I didn't skip Galt's monologue either time.
Anyone find a trailer for it yet? Just the pic itself has me interested.

was it just me, or did that picture remind anyone of val helsing or something along those lines at first glance? i don't know why that's the first thing that came into my head when i looked at it, being as i've never seen the movie.
