if there pitching stays healthy I think they can get the wildcard. I don't like corey and neifi as 1,2 hitters :-t

I think we have a better chance at the wildcard then we do at catching St. Louis. If the pitching stays healthy we will get the wildcard!! We are now getting clutch hitting. The clutch hitting wasn't there last year.

um....right, so long as the foundations of mathematical theory don't unwind, taking the fiber universe with them.

Am I the only one thinking about who the Cubs could get in a trade for Patterson?

i think sports illustrated said the cubs were talking trade with the rockies for wilson. they could be dealing with patterson because theyre both center fielders.

I'd like to see them swing a deal where they'd get a decent OBS player, not necessarily a center fielder. If it was REALLY necessary, Hairston could become the starting center fielder, and move whoever was obtained to left (maybe throw in hollandsworth with the deal to make it more appealing and prevent a three leftfielders situation.) The chances of things working out like this are slim to none, but hey, a guy can dream ;). Kotsay sounds good to me.
