Beltre is coming around!

Postby MashinSpuds » Tue Jun 28, 2005 5:11 pm

No promises, but it looks like Beltre might be sending some deep pretty soon. For one he's got a nice hit streak going, including a few multi-hit games, so at least we know his bat is alive to some degree. The next fact is that he's hitting doubles, which shows there's at least power behind the stroke. Also, his K/BB ratio for June is 8/9! Hopefully within a week or two he'll be blasting some out.

I'd venture to say to buy low, if possible, and see what happens. He looks like he wants to slug it out in the 2nd half...

I see the relative success having more to do with facing NL pitching. No HR for quite a while, get back to him once he hits more than 0 per last month :-P

True, but it's 6/28. Five days of no Beltre talk means open season for posting! But yes, I acknowledge your wisdom GF. Crossing tha fingers...
