If he truly has turf toe, he'll probably be out at least a month. Tough
injury for a player whose only fantasy plus is SBs.As a Titans fan,
I know too much about turf toe(Chris Brown, Eddie and McNair)

I heard Freel comment about this injury -- apparently his second toe is far longer than his big toe, so it is prone to take the brunt of any impact, be it running or a collision. This has always been aa problem for him. He said that it will at some point likely require surgery of some type to correct. Probably an off-season thing. They are calling this Turf Toe as a broad description, but it does not sound like the clinical definition of the ailment.

Regardless. 90% of Freel's fantasy value is wrapped up in steals. I'm holding onto to him to see if he runs the week after his DL stint If he fails to, I'll cut him.
