Can anyone give me a general time table for players with "turf toe"? About how long will he be out and will the injury effect him being able to steal bases once he comes back? Thanks in advance

Turf Toe WILL linger ALL season unless he has a great deal of time off. Ask any NFL running back/WR about Turf Toe.

Other than bd3521, nobody's really contributed to this thread.

So, how long are we looking at missed time? And when he comes back, will his steals take a dive the way bs3521 is indirectly saying they will?

I would have answered in relation to the question of "turf toe" if that was the diagnosis, but the problem is an inflamation that is not responding to treatment. So who knows when treatment will be effective or if they even know what the problem is ? If the doctors don't know, I think my choice to dump him and pick-up Weeks was the best thing I could say. I'm not a doctor, but I used to hang around in front of a drugstore as a teenager. By the way, turf toe usually lasts close to a month.
