according to rotoworld and espn, oliver perez has been placed on the dl with a broken toe. he, apparently, kicked a cart after his poor outing in st.louis.

Why is it I hear about these things AFTER my line-up is set for the week. This occurred Sunday, yet no one finds out until this morning?!? Annoying.

Two weeks is long enough for me to drop him. I'd guess at least a month for a starting pitcher to fully heal from a broken big toe though.
