Batting Average Poll

Which MN Twin will bat above .300 for the 2005 season?

(the player must have enough qualifying at-bats for the league batting title...though I'm sure none of them will actually win the title)

Stewart and Mauer are both close - I'd say they have a decent shot of breaking .300. Mauer was there just two weeks ago, wasn't he? All it would take is a quick hot streak, and he's right back up there...

Good point on Mauer. He's been hovering around there most of the month. And the Twins do play a good amount games against division teams whom he's hit relatively well against (except KC...his stats are ugy against KC).

Stewart's career splits (pre/post All-Star) would certainly suggest he hits better in the 2nd half. :-?

Perhaps I need to rethink my vote. O:-) :-b

That would be. O:-) You see, Minnesotan's have to be negative about everything in order to end up being happy when it turns out positive. We're really messed up here. :-b
