Ichiro...

Postby CoopernicusX » Tue Jun 28, 2005 8:23 am

If he isn't hitting for average, getting on base or stealing bases...what's his value??

Is it time to try to dump him in a trade? He holds much value in my AL-only league. OR do I keep him and wait for the law of averages to take over???

What does he bring?

10 million electronic girls screaming ICHIRO atfer every fantasy game.

He has been in a funk. You have to figure is average will bounce back, and he is on pace to get at least 35 stolen bases. I would say to expect 2002-2003 value, which would still put him in the top 50 players.

Didn't he hit close to .500 last July, and then keep hitting the rest of the season? Doubts creep in with each un-Ichirolike week that passes by. But he just doesn't seem the type who would stay in a slump all season.

if you drop him your out of you mind unless you can get real good value, this guy started off real slow last year and only ended up breaking the record for hits in a season, and hit 370 something....patience fantasy baseball is a marathon not a sprint young man

Ichiro is very streaky. He can easily hit over .400 in a month, then .220 next and so on. I wouldn't sell him low cause he's going to get hot soon.

My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

i would hang onto him unless u got equal value in return... he did only hit 429 after the all star break last year and is a career 335 hitter,,,so if you do trade him,, definitely get equal value in return
