Hasn't stolen a base in a month.

I remember he had a hamstring injury a few weeks ago. Which I guess is somewhat of a reason.

But is he really roster worthy anymore? He pretty much is only on ppl's teams for his Stolen bases and he is not doing that anymore.

I should note that his average has gone from .255 to .284 in the last month.

If he is hitting the ball well, then it isn't from lack of oppurtunities. I hope he continues to struggle for this week anyway.

He's getting on base, scoring a few runs, hitting pretty well.

So if his hammy heals up, then add in stolen bases, he'll be awesome. But I agree, it's hard to sit and wait for him to start stealing.

I was able to trade him away 2 weeks ago with Pavano to get B. Webb. Sorry I'm just so proud of that trade. Right now, Taveras is a waste of space. He is at least hitting for a decent AVG now. But that means he should be getting more SB opps. I'm almost positive he's still hurting from that hammy injury. And the fact that he's still playing through it will just prolong his recovery. So I don't think he'll be back to his cleptomaniac (excuse the spelling) ways before the end of the season. Try to do what I did and trade him to an unsuspecting oppenent. If that doesn't work, then drop him.

help me out??
