First of all I just want to say that i'm a HUGE Braves fan and I love watching Chipper play! With that said I am not a stickler on having my favorite players unless I can get them at a bargain. After all I'm after winning my leagues not just having a "likeable" team.

ANYWAY...my question is this:

Since Chipper does NOT qualify for 3B this year, in what round do you think he belongs? Looking at his numbers he is definitely a good OF to have but not the best. I have him projected to go late in the 2nd round but in my opinion that is too high.

Please give me your thoughts on him.

Now that he does not qualify at 3rd, his value goes way down. I can name atleast 10 of that are better than Chipper. Now throw in pitchers, IF, atleast one catcher. I see him late 3rd or early 4ht round.

I wouldn't take him any higher than the fourth or fifth.

In the mock draft, I took Chipper 32nd overall..

Looking back, I may have taken him a bit early...
In my real draft this spring, I'm not gonna think about taking him until atleast the 4th round.

i think chip is a solid #2 of and a really good#3 if you can get him there. like you, i am a huge braves fan but i will not take him until the 4th at the earliest.

Don't even think about going for Chipper earlier than late 4th round!
