Presumably, he hasn't rushed back... so if he's at 100% when he comes back, he'll be a great play after the break. He will need some time to readjust to seeing live pitching again.
Of course, don't expect more than three or four SB's out of him... he'd already pretty much given up on running before all this happened, so there's no way he'll be going now.
I know I picked him up off the WW in my money league, and I'm going to ride him to the playoffs.
why do people ask obvious questions? unless you dropped someone in your starting lineup or something, of course it's a good move. even if he doesn't do jack, it's still a good move because he didn't cost you anything to pick up.

Obviously, I had to drop someone to pick him up.
You didn't read carefully enough. He said, unless you dropped someone in your starting lineup or something, and he's right. If you dropped somebody who rarely sees PT on your team, could be a good move for you, but I wouldn't go dropping a weekly starter for Magg Pipes.

i didn't ask if you dropped someone. i said "unless you dropped someone from your STARTING lineup," meaning someone actually good/usable, it's always a good move to take a chance on a "buy-low" type of player.
who did you drop? not even just a bench player, but the very worst bench player on your team right?
I've scooped him up off of waivers in the only two leagues he's been cut in . I have no problems dropping a bench player who never sees time in my lineup for someone who could have a nice second half. If he bombs, I didn't drop anyone all that valuable anyway. No big loss, but could be a nice reward.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

sorry, you have no clue what you're talking about. he had one injury last year (playing related) and then a health problem this year. juan has been on the DL for the last 20 years or something...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I couldn't agree more. From 1998 through 2003, the guy never played in fewer than 145 games and never had fewer than 535 at bats. I'm not sure how you can say he's injury prone when he went his first 7 years without a significant injury and is in 9th season.
