He will begin rehab next week. Does anybody think he is worth having on your team? Can he fully recover from hernia surgery and have a productive second half season.

Better to gamble on him than someone who you know already sucks. He could have a 15 HR second half.

I guess it depends on your team. I added him a few days ago before I read he was starting his rehab today. That was a pleasant surprise since I still thought that was a few weeks away. I had to drop Lowell to get him, which wasn't a big loss anyway. I should have parted ways with him a long time ago. As long as Maggs can stay healthy I think he will put up some good numbers.

I'd put him on par w/ Juan Gonzalez. It's just a question of how many ABs he'll have his 1st game back until he reinjures something.

He's nothing like Juan. Juan farts and goes on the DL. Mags should post good to very good numbers in 2 weeks, or after break

It's a good move, he's a solid player and if you have room to stash him, then by all means go for it. And I don't think he's comparable to Juan Gone at all, not yet at least.

He could be a pleasant surprise in the second half. If your getting him of WW then you have nothing to lose.

Lots of Q marks that still need to be answered by him.... I too picked him up from an owner that held him on his DL til 1 week ago.... no clue why he would drop him at that point.
He's worth a hold on your DL for a few weeks after he gets back to see if he's worth being on your active, traded, or dropped.
If you found my advice helpful, please help me
