Skinny: New manager Jerry Narron won't be adjourning Cincinnati's bullpen committee. Though he expects to make several changes, one thing he won't be doing is naming a closer. The Cincinnati Post reported that Narron will continue to use Weathers, Wagner and Mercker interchangeably in the late innings. Weathers got the save on Friday, just two days after Mercker retired one batter to earn his first save since 2003. Wagner has been terrible (11.91 ERA in June), but Narron is expected to give him a chance to regain his confidence.
