1. They only whisper when they are either a course reporter near the action or the tower is really close to the action on the 18th green. 2. That is retarded. I agree. They do it for other golfers as well. 3. What is even more retarded is when they do it when they tee off.......on a par 4 or 5. 4. I agree but he is the king of the PGA tour, he gets ratings, and he has done wonder for the coverage of the sport.
And so I don't get in any trouble, Michelle Wie is very pretty.
I also believe that the 18th hole hadn't yielded a birdie on 18 on Sunday but there were 3 or 4 for the entire tournament. Either way, as talented as Kim is, she was very lucky. It was a great feat to get up and down from that bunker and she holed it out. Considering that she is 1 of the worst bunker players on tour, she got very lucky.

Looks like we're the only ones who enjoy watching it at all. I've never been to a golf tournament, but I would think watching it on TV would be much more enjoyable. I like being able to know who stands where ASAP and being able to see every key shot as it happens (or on a very short delay if two happen at once). Don't get me wrong there are definitely some things that are annoying, but overall, it's probably my second favorite sport to watch -- after baseball of course.
I like watching it as well. To me, I actually learn a lot for my game and helping others by watching it. I have only been to 1 tournament in my life and that was the Women's U.S. Open is 1987 (I think). Maybe earlier. I do want to go when the Men's Open is at Baltusrol.

You mean the PGA? I don't know the Open rotation, but since they've got the PGA this year I can't imagine Baltusrol is scheduled to have an Open for at least a decade.

Damn. My bad. I was remembering when they had the Open there last and made a bad assumption. Better have the GF get on those tix then.
I was pleasantly surprised when my first assignment at my new job was right next to Baltusrol. A lot of watching and not a lot of work on my first few days.
Yelling isn't going to help it go in the hole or straighter down the fairway .
Just watch and appreciate the skill it takes to hit the shot. I'm not really a golf fan, but I do appreciate the skill it takes to be competitive on the tour.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Don't play play much golf do you?
Lol.
Nope. Never actually played a round of golf. Been to the driving range one time in my life. I plan to go a few times before the summer is over though.
