Second Half Pitchers

Postby LooseCannon » Mon Jun 27, 2005 2:42 pm

I am desperate for another pitcher who will perform really well in the second half, but someone I could get cheap or a FA....any ideas...I was thinking Petitte, but the guy who owns him thinks if anyone wants him it means he is too good to give up..

I'd definitely grab haren out of that group. he has been pitching much better as of late and as the A's start playing better the wins will come. harang might also be a good option depending on your scoring system

he pitched saturday. out of that group i like haren, lowe and harang. lowe's been pitching pretty solidly, he's just had bad luck with wins, haren's been pretty dominant in his last few starts and the A's look like they're coming together, and harang's got pretty good stats all around, but wins won't come easy.

i had started Harang last week (not too good) and ended up dropping him becasue his last name sounds too much like the sound the bat makes when someone hits a dinger HA-RANGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
