He's back. Homerun in three straight days. No way can the Padres keep his bat out of the lineup with Nevin, Hernandez, Roberts, and Loretta out with injuries. He's a nice pickup if you need a utility player due to slumping and/or injuries. ;-D

And imagine if he got that 3b eligibility, eh WR? ;-)

Boy, is this guy ever streaky. I'm figuring about a week or so of this hot stuff and then he'll go about 2 for 30.

But I agree, DM, now's the time to grab him for a quick spike. Hopefully, he'll hit a little at Dodger Stadium...although he has horrid career numbers there in a limited sample.

Ick, I didn't even realize Roberts was down. Three at LA with Phillips' flimsy arm would have made for some good SB's for me.

And please, can we just call him X-Nad from now on? Seriously, it's just too cool.

He is streaky but he should get lots of Ab's with all the injuries!!
