Bret Myers' future

I'm of the opinion that Brett Myers is due for a "Market Correction" and will be average at best during the second half. I was wondering what others thought?

(this came up because there was a V.Castilla and Myers for S.Rolen trade in my league and I thought it was a poor one.)

Myers is just that good. The coaches under Bowa change this mechanics from the ones that made him one of baseballs top pitching prospects three four years ago. This year they not only change the mechanics back but also slowed him down, so that he does hurry so much between pitches. It is also said that it takes two to three years for a pitcher to figure out how to pitch in the bigs. Not because I'm a Philly Fan, but I think Myers is a Stud for years to come.

Wrong forum, I know, but would you consider trading Myers and Jose Guillen for Randy Johnson, trying to buy low?

Guillen is the 4th or 5th outfielder on my team, behind Vlad, Sheff, Damon and/or Berkman.

I wouldn't trade low for Randy because I personally thought he was due for a decline and I have reservations about him getting injured. But it is all relative to what your team needs and where you are in the standing I guess...
