Any news on him? I haven't heard anything for a while now, and my DL spots are already full so I'm thinking about dropping him...

Who else is on your DL that your thinking about dropping Chipper?

Last I heard it was still after the all-star break, but that was a while ago. It has been real quiet on this front....

Loretta, Milton Bradley and Lyon... had to autodraft for a midseason league and didn't have time to edit my rankings very well!

Last I heard there was some question about whether Chipper would be back at all this season, but I haven't heard anything for a while...

Best FA 3b available looks like Tracy, Mueller, and Betemit.

I would rather have Chipper than Loretta, Lyon or Bradley

Dont drop him! :-t

I gotta agree with BravesGuy. I've had a different 3B every two weeks since Chipper went on the DL, but if there is even a chance he is coming back he's worth holding on to.

Depending on how much you need (or will need) saves, I'd probably drop Loretta if you had to drop someone. Give Chipper at least until mid-July before you give up on him. He was awesome right up until he hurt his foot....

Just read that Chipper is walking without pain for the first time in weeks. He is going to be examined by the team physician on Thursday and may be back sometime around the Allstar break. When they do bring him back they better bat him exclusively from the left side.

Chipper Jones (OF) Atl has been encouraged lately by the fact that he's been able to walk without any discomfort, according to the Braves official site. Jones is suffering from an injured left foot. "I could feel it in everything that I did a couple of weeks ago," he said. "Now I can walk pain-free." He will have his foot re-examined on Thursday.
