do you need SBs ?

Lofton goes against the Mets mid-week. He is day-to-day with a groin injury. He's a FA in most leagues. I picked him up to spot start in a league where I'm desparate for SBs.

My leagues are 15, 15, 14 and 12 teamers. Lofton is long gone in all of them.

But I would certainly agree that anyone playing in a deeper league where he may still be available should go ahead and pick him up. Even if he just a platoon guy at this point, that .376 is nothing to sneeze at and he's hitting right ahead of Abreu much of the time.

I'm first in steals with 105. 2nd place has 77. Thanks though.

i think i'll give him a go, there are weeks where i've won 1-0 in stolen bases, i should probably grab a little more for insurance.

In one of my public leagues that I'm trailing in steals badly in you've given me the idea to follow Mike Piazza around the majors in and try to gain ground that way. Thanks for sparking that idea. I'm curious to see who I can pick up along the way. Should be fun.

I tried to pick-up some SBs with Ellison against Kendall last weekend, no dice. So, today Biggio goes against the Rockies and Lofton against the Mets tomorrow. Mets, Oakland, Rockies, Dodgers, and Seattle are the teams I'll be chasing for SBs.
