I've been trying to pick up a couple players for the last hour or so and I keep getting the message "Player is in a pending transaction".
That can't be though, because they're all FA's and no one else in my league is doing anything right now.

Any ideas?

It means the player you're trying to drop for them is in a pending transaction.

Meaning you have the player proposed in a trade, accepted or not. You need to cancel the trade proposal.

Ah yes, so simple that I hadn't even thought about it.

I didn't think the guy I wanted to drop was involved in the trade but I guess he was. D'oh
