Angels: Escobar out at least two months

The News
Angels pitcher Kelvim Escobar has decided to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow, and he expects to miss at least two months. The decision came following an exam by team physician Dr. Lewis Yocum on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.

We're still awaiting more details on the procedure, but the basic news is enough for fantasy owners to make any moves at this point. Rookie Ervin Santana now stands to stick in the rotation as long as he's effective.

Santana could be a good pickup if you use him judiciously. Assuming the Angels stay with a five-man rotation, his next game will be at Arlington, which I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole.
After that, though, he'd be home vs. Minn and Sea heading into the break. Those two could be decent plays.

Santana could really figure things out. He has either been lights in his appearences or has been jumped on early.
As the #24th propspect in baseball, and as his minor league numbers indicate, he is a fast learner.

His three good starts are almost identical:
