K. Brown...now here is a real shocker

Rotoworld:
Joe Torre now fears that Kevin Brown (back) may not be ready to pitch by July 5, the next time the Yankees will need him.
The new plan is for him to go see his doctor in Georgia, then go to the Yankees facility in Tampa where he'll start throwing this week.

So we have Wright who stinks and messes up his arm (which is better than him actually pitching), we have Brown with his crummy performances and infinite number of excuses hurt, RJ has back pain, and Pavano thinks he has a fielder in Monument Park.

Way to rebuild a staff there Cashman...nice job.

Good riddance as they say. I hope he ends up pitching for Piniella in TB as a punishment.

I hope he was talking about the Georgia in the Eastern Bloc.

Hate the Yanks, but I hate KB even more for some reason.

Why does Torre "fear" that Kevin Brown may not be ready? I'd probably hire someone to crack him in the back with a bat to ENSURE he won't be ready.

It is absolutely unfathomable that a team with that much money can make as many crippling executive decisions as the 2005 Yankees have.

Simple...money is no substitute for brains. Cashman has brought us Weaver...in fact he went out of his way to trade Lilly for Weaver. He sent Weaver packing for Brown after Torre and Weaver blew the 2003 WS. Then he goes and trades for Javier Vazquez and signs him to a 4 year big buck deal. That worked well.
