Jones hurts wrist

Postby cordscords » Sat Jun 25, 2005 3:00 pm

I'm watching the Phils-Sox game, and Joe Buck just said the Andrew Jones hurt his wrist on a diving play. Don't know how severe it is.

When did this happen? I'm looking at MLB.com and Jones is stilllisted in center field... Is MLB.com way behind real time?

ESPN Gameday shows he is still in the game though :-? Is cordscords pulling one on us? I've seen nothing about it, even here at the Cafe.

I can back up cordscords. He injured it (it looked like he rolled over it) attempting to make a diving catch. They've shown the replay a few times on FOX, as well as footage of a trainer wrapping the wrist. He stayed in the game (his RBI single came after the play). At this point, it doesn't look like much to worry about.

Nice. I was scared for a moment. My apologies cordscords.

I saw him still in the game so that's why I was curious. I guess I'll keep him in my lineup for next week.
