Does my team stink?

Postby chargerss24 » Fri Jun 24, 2005 10:52 pm

I went from battling for third clear down to eighth in a 12-team, 6x6 keeper roto league (BA/OBP/HR/R/RBI/STLS K/WHIP/ERA/H/S/W) in a matter of two weeks. Any suggestions on improving my team FOR NEXT YEAR would be greatly appreciated. I'll rank anyone's team who replies and leaves a link.

Without further ado, here's the gang! !+)

I see that you have a lot of young guys because its a keeper but they are hurting your team right now. You need a better infield. Your pitching is fairly good so maybe you could trade one of them for a hitting upgrade.

help me out, http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=142096

Wow, your hitting is killing you. Trade some of that gas for some bats. Still it is a keeper league. I really love the pitching though.

I think you are well postioned for the future. Taveras...Dallas...Doumit..All have great potential. However, if you are looking for a quick fix..You should consider giving up some pitching.Otherwise I would just ride out the valley your in.

Cheers ;-D

I have to agree with everyone...I think for a keeper league you are set. This year though is going to be a struggle. I wouldn't make any desperation moves just to try and compete this year if they involve any of your young stars.

Auction league....if you can afford the staff, you can keep the whole team.

If you are really playing for next year, then the obvious advice is to try to trade your high-priced stars for low-priced bargains. But without knowing specific salaries, it's kind of hard to give advice.
