i know that he got hurt on wed. and was going to be examined today. any drays fans know what happened today?

Aubrey Huff (bruised knee) took batting practice today and might return to the lineup Sunday.
With Huff unavailable, the Rays used Jonny Gomes in the outfield and put Jorge Cantu at DH tonight.

honestly, and this is speaking as a huff owner who has him on the bench, he really has zero desire whatsoever to play for that team. any excuse to be out of the lineup seems to sound good to him. its only a matter of time before hes out of tampa bay, and hopefully he will then be motivated to play out his potential and have a big 2nd half

I am SO hoping that you are right. I need him to have a big 2nd half, either to help my stats or bring me something good in a deal. ;-D

I completely agree - the dude is just sick of being in Tampa. If he gets traded to a contender like the rumors have said, then I think he almost instantly goes back to old form.
