Hard to tell what will happen to Wang or Cano. They have said they won't trade them and then you read that they will. On NewJersey.com there is an articles that says:
Would the Yankees dare trade Robinson Cano or Chien-Ming Wang for, say, Barry Zito? GM Brian Cashman says, "I would recommend that.' The question itself assumes the Bombers are good enough for October. Maybe not.

I don't think that is factual at all. First of all, Cashman isn't allowed to talk about other teams' players because that's tampering. WFAN wouldn't even bring up the names of Zito or Schmidt with him yesterday because they knew he couldn't comment.
Second of all, Cashman said yesterday he would NOT reccomend ANY trade that involves Cano or Wang. I highly doubt that has any merit.
