Someone recommended Pavano. I can't second that. Since May 28, he has a 6.545 ERA and a WHIP of 1.60. The home/away splits for the season shows a big differential, but everything lately has been pretty ugly.
I have to agree that he has the potential to turn it around and his team is starting to hit now, but not a great option.
Anyone have any thoughts. Always looking to take a chance on someone with bad numbers hoping to find the turnaround.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Wood, Prior, Sheets, O Perez are the obvious choices, but are there any middle of the road guys that might have a big 2nd half? Mainly lookin at NL only.

Hudson and RJ are two that you may be able to get cheap. Hudson has had better 2nd halves than first halves for a few years now and RJ is bound to turn it around, but his owners may be tiring of his current production.
I'd also look to see if Piniero or Haren are available on the WW.
Here's one I don't think I saw reading through this thread: Jeff Weaver (LAD). Great in July and August of last year posting 3.12/2.30 and 1.24/0.88 ERA and WHIP totals in each month, respectively in 2004. After horrible April/May campaigns in 2005, he's looked real sharp in June with a 2.91 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, 26 Ks to only 6 BBs, and opposing batters hitting him at a .180 clip. He's in a great pitchers park, and I wouldn't be surprised if he put up very capable numbers in the second half of this year. I just got him for Yency Brazoban, which I consider a steal in my league.
