Jun 24 While a rehab assignment for Vidro (ankle) hasn't been ruled out, he seems likely to return to the Nationals lineup in time for next weekend's series against the Cubs, the Washington Post reports.

Jun 25 Nationals second baseman Jose Vidro was scheduled to go on a rehab assignment Monday, but that has been postponed because of a sore right knee, reports MLB.com. He hurt his patella tendon while working out Thursday afternoon, but the injury is not considered serious.

Jun. 30 Jose Vidro (2B) Was will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Potomac today, according to the Washington Post. He has been out with a torn tendon in his left ankle. GM Jim Bowden stated that Vidro would begin his rehab by being the DH and batting leadoff to give him as many at-bats as possible. He is expected to be back before the All-Star break.
Yahoo is saying don't expect him back till after the all-star break.

Jul. 1 Jose Vidro (2B) Was appeared in his first game in almost two months Thursday, playing for Single-A Potomac last night as their designated hitter, according to the Washington Times. He went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the game. He could rejoin the big league club next week. Vidro is out with a partially torn tendon in his left ankle.
