Jun. 30 Jose Vidro (2B) Was will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Potomac today, according to the Washington Post. He has been out with a torn tendon in his left ankle. GM Jim Bowden stated that Vidro would begin his rehab by being the DH and batting leadoff to give him as many at-bats as possible. He is expected to be back before the All-Star break.

Jul. 1 Jose Vidro (2B) Was appeared in his first game in almost two months Thursday, playing for Single-A Potomac last night as their designated hitter, according to the Washington Times. He went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the game. He could rejoin the big league club next week. Vidro is out with a partially torn tendon in his left ankle.
