Jun 24 While a rehab assignment for Vidro (ankle) hasn't been ruled out, he seems likely to return to the Nationals lineup in time for next weekend's series against the Cubs, the Washington Post reports.
Recommendation: "I don't feel any pain," Vidro said. "I've been running a little out there, and I've been getting tired quick, but it's not pain, so that's good. I just need to get in shape."

From Fanball.com

Jun 25 Nationals second baseman Jose Vidro was scheduled to go on a rehab assignment Monday, but that has been postponed because of a sore right knee, reports MLB.com. He hurt his patella tendon while working out Thursday afternoon, but the injury is not considered serious.
Views: There was hope that Vidro would be able to come back next weekend, but that seems increasingly unlikely now. We'll continue to follow his rehab so fantasy owners know when he'll be back. The Nationals will continue to use Junior Spivey at second until Vidro is healthy.

Jun. 30 Jose Vidro (2B) Was will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Potomac today, according to the Washington Post. He has been out with a torn tendon in his left ankle. GM Jim Bowden stated that Vidro would begin his rehab by being the DH and batting leadoff to give him as many at-bats as possible. He is expected to be back before the All-Star break.
