He sat out last night and again today. I can't find any news about it, anyone know anything? Or is he just getting a two day rest?

I just looked and didnt see anything about it. Hopefully it is just a couple days off.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

If anyone else is interster...

SKINNY: Drew, who underwent an MRI on Wednesday to determine the cause of persistent soreness in his left knee, was diagnosed with chondromalacia, a condition that isn't serious but can be painful, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

ROTOWIRE SPIN: "It's in the lining of the cartilage," Dodgers trainer Stan Johnston said. "It's like a sharp pain that he feels, but he doesn't feel it all the time. It will heal on its own." Drew, who was not in the Dodgers' lineup Thursday, is listed as day-to-day and probably won't need to go onto the 15-day disabled list. We'll keep you posted on his status.

Per Rotoworld

The technical term for the knee injury that kept J.D. Drew out of last night's game is chondromalacia.
He could end up being out for several days with the injury, as it's a softening of the tissue in the kneecap. It's not believed that this is related to the knee surgery he had in 2002, and he thinks he injured it on a slide over Memorial Day weekend. Bench him until further notice.
