FireTune?

Hey all you firefoxers. I just found on Softpedia a freeware release called "FireTune". It's supposedly a stand alone program that optimizes firefox to run faster. I'm guessing it's similar to going into about:config and changing pipeline settings, and so on.

Have any of you tried it? I'd install it, but I don't want to put junk on my system if I don't need to (if it indeed junk). The one review on Softpedia says it actually made the systems run slower, but it's been downloaded 11,921 times. Here's the link if you want to try it.

Sure, and that's why I wanted FBCers to mention if they have used it and (hopefully) to say why it works or doesn't work.
