Cortisone shots to replace missing cartilege? Wasn't that what Mo Vaughn was trying last week? Does this sound good?

I guess in general, what are your thoughts on Mr. Unit here? Can he come back and return to his dominant ways, or he done? Gotta admit I'm a little worried about the knee.

For those that have him, are you keeping him or trying to move him? Trade value is pretty low right now, but if you had a chance to trade him for say Mulder or Mussina would you do it?

Any other info would be appreciated, this is all I've been able to find today.

I have the Unit as well and am not sure what I'm gonna do with him.

I have him in in my league and in an as yet to start mid-season league. I just hear he'll be out till mid-July, so I think I'm gonna try to trade him in the mid season league. I've held on to him thus far in the other league, so I may as well hang onto him there.

If you can get Mulder or Mussina for RJ, jump all over it at this point. RJ's timetable to come back is now not until at least mid-July apparently, so if you hold onto him, you'll only get 2 to 2.5 months out of him. Couple that with the fact that he may never regain his dominance this year. 4 months of Mulder or Mussina would be more valuable to you at this point.

whoa, where'd you guys hear mid-July? I hadn't heard that, that really changes things.

It was reported in one of the Arizona papers yesterday, apparently. I can't find exactly where I read that, but RJ did have a setback and needs the cortizone shots, so he won't be back until at least mid-July.
