That would be my guess, or maybe they think he'll get called up soon. I'm happy to see 2 Cubs playing though, and it will be Pie's 3rd futures game ;-D

I personally like the rosters last year more. They had a lot of up and coming pitchers and this year only 1 SP in Low A ... with all the promotions maybe only a few in all of A ball even.

The ones I am looking forward to seeing are:

K. Morales - simply cause not to much is known about him
A. Sanchez - wondering just how good he is with those #'s he is putting up
J. Verlander - about the hottest sp's in the minors right now
T. Patton - the only SP from Low A I believe
M. Sanders - this kid is one of the most exciting prospects that people don't know about, he can absolutely fly on the bases

Also some others like Hermida, Francoeur, Laroche, and Wood.

i am most interested in seeing patton and verlander pitch, as i have added both of them to my minor league roster in a keeper this past week....
