If the Expos make the playoffs, they play their games in Montreal. They are the MONTREAL Expos after all. Plus, attendance in Puerto Rico is only like 10,000, so they should have just left all the games in Montreal.

That's an interesting point jdh, but right now, I'd take Mariner pitchers Moyer, Meche, Pineiro, Franklin and Garcia instead . As far as hitting goes, I'd also take Boone, Ichiro, Edgar and Olerud over the hitters you mention.

What with all the hype over Sosa's bat, nobody seems to be noticing the M's are 8-0 on their current road trip and are in the process of expanding a pretty large lead in the AL west.

The Mariners are currently making the Philly players you mention look like underachievers.

It will be interesting to see how Atlanta fares against the M's next week.

I still think the Expos should play all their games in Puerto Rico. Nobody cares in Montreal anyway. Or do they? As for the hype about Sosa's bat....his career isn't going to be ruined. It just hurt his image a little....

The reason noone goes to their games is because of the toilet bowl of a stadium they have. If they could get a basic open air stadium in the downtown built, they'd get 25,000 a game.

Wrong.. the only way to get people to go see the Expos in Montreal is to take their bats away and let them swing with hockey sticks.

No, the CFL football team in Montreal was drawing about as well as the Expos when they played in the Big Owe. As soon as they moved them to a 25,000 seat outdoor university stadium, they started selling out. Noone wants to go to the Big Owe.......it's a total dump.
